Which length do I need?

- 15–20m: ceiling projectors and classrooms; VGA is analog, so very long runs can show slight softness
Common questions
Does VGA carry sound?
No. VGA carries video only. Use a separate 3.5mm audio cable for sound.
What is the difference between 3+4 and 3+5?
Both have three coaxial cores for the colour signals. The 3+5 cable has one more wire inside, which some displays use for auto-detection (DDC).
Can I connect a laptop with only HDMI?
Not directly. Use an HDMI to VGA adapter, or a USB-C to VGA adapter for USB-C laptops.
