Common questions
Can I use a CR2032 instead?
Only if the holder allows it. A CR2032 is the same width but twice as thick (3.2 mm), so it may not fit a CR2016 slot.
How do I know my PC needs a new battery?
If the date and time or BIOS settings reset every time you unplug the PC, the CMOS battery is usually flat.
Is it rechargeable?
No. Replace it when it runs out.
