Common questions
Can I use it on the motherboard?
No. Never connect it to the motherboard; it can damage the board. It is only for PSU CPU lead to graphics card.
How is it different from the 8-pin PCIe splitter?
They look alike. This one takes a CPU 8-pin from the PSU. The other takes a PCIe 8-pin. The pin layouts are different.
Will it work with modular PSUs?
Only with the PSU's own CPU cable. Never plug it directly into the modular PSU sockets.
