Common questions
Will it fit a DVI-D (24+1) port?
No. The 4 extra pins of a 24+5 plug only fit DVI-I sockets. For DVI-D ports, choose our DVI 24+1 to HDMI adapter.
Will it carry sound?
Most DVI ports carry video only, so use a separate audio cable.
Which DVI type do I have?
Look at the flat blade on the port. If it has 4 holes around it, it is DVI-I (24+5).
