How do I know if I need 12.7mm or 9.5mm?
Measure the thickness of your laptop's DVD drive. Standard drives are 12.7mm; slim drives are 9.5mm. The caddy must match the drive bay, not your hard drive.
Common questions
My hard drive is 9.5mm thick. Will it fit?
Yes. 7mm and 9.5mm 2.5-inch drives fit.
Can I keep the front cover of my DVD drive?
Usually yes. Move the front bezel from your old DVD drive to the caddy.
Does it come with a hard drive?
No. The drive is sold separately.
